Fresh beeswax gathered from our working hives make this soap harder and last longer but it still has a sumptuous lather due to the raw honey. Beeswax and honey are a natural humectant, which draw moisture to the skin and help it stay hydrated and protected. There has also been some studies that show beeswax to be a natural skin exfoliator. Nothing wrong with that!
