Pure sea salt creates a spa-like scrub experience. This formulation has lots of castor oil for rich, creamy lather. Shea butter soothes and may help fight acne because of its anioxidant, anti-inflammatory and moisture balancing qualities for the skin. This bar also contains activated charcoal, which has long been used  in skin care products to draw impurities from the skin. Why put salt in soap? First, sea salt acts as an astringent--it detoxifies and purifies the skin; second, salt soap lasts a LONG time in the shower; third, sea salt contains magnesium, potassium and zinc (good stuff!); finally, exfoliation, exfoliation, exfoliation!
 
Handmade with distilled water, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, olive oil, coconut oil, organic sustainable palm oil, hemp oil, apricot kernel oil, Shea butter, pure sea salt, organic activated charcoal, and scented with 100% pure rosemary and amyris essential oils.
